UKRAINE HUMANITARIAN AID
We have watched the events unfolding in Ukraine in horror. Hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian refugees have already been displaced with upwards of five million expected to be forced from their homes. Here at The CK Fund we stand with the people of Ukraine and are hoping to help with humanitarian aid to Ukrainian families harmed by this war. All monetary donations will go directly to CARE's Ukraine Crisis Fund. BACK TO SCHOOL DRIVE
After 18 months of Zoom, kids are finally headed back to school for in-person learning and they need our help! There isn't just one class of students who have never been in a classroom, but two. They need resources to get the most out of their educational experience and teachers need the support to make this return a great one. Due to this need, The CK Fund has launched our Back to School Drive. We've worked with the principals at Bailey's Elementary School and Hunter's Woods Elementary School to identify their biggest ares of need and from this we've created a wishlist with all of their requests. All you need to do is click the link below, log in to your Amazon account and purchase the items you would like to donate. When you purchase from the wishlist, the items will be sent directly to us and we will take care of the drop-off with each school. It's easy and no-contact! STOCK THE PANTRY PROJECT
COVID-19 has had a deep impact on our community, and food insecurity is more of an issue now than ever. While our community is lucky to have multiple pantries serving our area, donations of food and toiletry items are in high demand so that each and every need gets met. The CK Fund is proud to roll out the Stock the Pantry project, an effort to match needs with donors with a simple, no-contact process. We've created a wishlist and have gather requests from local pantries and now we're looking to the Northern Virginia community to purchase these items and help our neighbors get what they need. When you purchase from the wishlist, the items will be sent directly to the CK Fund. Once we've received the items, the CK Fund will schedule a drop-off at the pantry - easy, quick and no-contact for you!
